Indianapolis teacher accused of relationship with female student

"Sara L. Strahm, 28, a special education teacher and girls’ varsity basketball coach at Pike High School, in Indianapolis, Indiana has reportedly been arrested on allegations of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student.Reportedly, Strahm was arrested on Friday on charges of child seduction.

Strahm came to the attention of police when school officials notified them of an allegation of sexual misconduct against Strahm.

Strahm has reportedly been placed on administrative leave by the school system.

According to the Pike High School website, Strahm attended Ben Davis High School where she played volleyball, basketball, and softball and was the first athlete in school history to receive 12 varsity letters and was named the Marion County Coaches’ Female Athlete of the Year.

Reportedly, before working at Pike High School, Strahm Strahm served as a varsity assistant coach at Decatur Central, as head coaching at Danville High School and was a third-grade teacher in Wayne Township, while serving as the JV basketball and volleyball coach at Ben Davis High School."
