Gatorade found on store shelves show 'unfaithful' Tiger Woods
from floridatoday.com:
"
DENVER — Bootleg Gatorade labels with a picture of Tiger Woods and his wife and the word "unfaithful" have been found on bottles in Colorado stores, the company said Monday.
Quantcast
Gatorade spokeswoman Karen May said the company didn't produce the labels but she declined to say whether the bottles contained real Gatorade.
She said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating, but she declined to say whether any problems have been linked to the bottles.
FDA spokeswoman Siobhan DeLancey said the agency doesn't confirm or deny investigations.
Gatorade, owned by Pepsico Inc., sponsors Woods, who has taken an indefinite leave from golf after admitting to infidelity.
May wouldn't say how many bottles were found or reveal what stores they were discovered in. She called it "an isolated incident."
KUSA-TV in Denver reported the bogus labels over the weekend.
The station said it found some in a Denver Safeway store. A Safeway spokeswoman didn't immediately return a call."
